- Red colour with yellow band in between black bands
- It's non-venomous snake.
- Quite similar to venomous coral snake, make sure they are Scarlet Kingnake before you handle them
- Hardly seen in the nature as it's very secretive which always hide beneath log and bark

- Also can be seen in upland pine forests and sandhills.
- In captivity, a hide box should be provide as they are vey secretive
